Garments & boutiques

Every size and colour, counted separately

For clothing shops, boutiques and showrooms where one design comes in many sizes and colours and each has its own stock.

How this business works

What makes it hard, and what helps

  • One design, many variants

A shirt in S, M, L and four colours is sixteen sellable items. NEXTOREx generates the combinations and tracks each.

  • Seasonal stock

Old stock sits while new arrives. See quantity and value by product so you know what to discount.

  • Returns and exchanges

Wrong size comes back often. A sales return puts the exact variant back in stock.

  • Discounts at the counter

Offer a line discount without editing the price list, and limit who may change prices.

In practice

New collection to counter sale

  1. Set up the design

Create the product and choose size and colour options.

  2. Generate variants

Each combination is created with its own stock line.

  3. Receive the collection

Receive by variant against the purchase order.

  4. Sell

Pick the variant at checkout, scan its barcode or search by name.

  5. Review

Check stock by product and what is slow-moving.

FAQ

Common questions
