Inventory
Know what is in stock, what is running low, and what to buy
One live stock count for every product in every warehouse. Every movement is recorded, so the number on screen is the number you can trust.
Inventory is included in every plan, from Starter.
Sound familiar?
The problems this fixes
- The count in the register and the count on the shelf never agree.
- You find out an item is finished only when a customer asks for it.
- Stock sits in more than one godown and nobody knows where.
- You buy in cartons but sell in pieces and the maths gets messy.
What you get
What Inventory does for you
Live stock by warehouse
See quantity for each product in each warehouse or shop, and the total across all of them.
Every movement on record
Purchases, sales, returns and adjustments each leave an entry. Corrections are made with a new entry, never by rewriting history.
Low-stock alerts
Set a reorder level on a product and see it flagged when stock drops below it.
Units that convert
Buy by the carton and sell by the piece. NEXTOREx converts between units for you and keeps stock in one base unit.
Variants
Size and colour combinations are generated for you, each with its own stock.
Batch, expiry and serial numbers
Track batches with expiry dates, or individual serial numbers, for items that need it. Batch selling follows first-expiry-first-out.
Stock value report
See what your stock is worth by warehouse. Cost is updated on every purchase using a weighted average.
Bundles
Sell a combo or gift pack as one item while stock is reduced from the parts inside it.

FAQ
Questions people ask
Can I keep stock in more than one place?
Yes. You can create several warehouses or shop locations and see stock for each.
Can I stop stock going below zero?
Yes. By default a sale that would take stock below zero is blocked, so you do not sell what you do not have.
Does it support expiry dates?
Yes, for products set up with batch tracking. Batches are sold earliest-expiry first.
Can I move stock between warehouses?
Stock is tracked per warehouse and you can record adjustments in each. Ask us on a demo how your exact transfer routine would be handled.
